About Us

32 Degrees Building are the award winning specialists in first floor additions, ground floor extensions and custom built new homes. Operating since 2011, 32 Degrees Building has fast become the household name when it comes to building a second storey addition or extension on your home. We put it down to our responsiveness to clients, the quality of the work we deliver, and the team we have on hand to help before, during and after the build. Company director Alistair recognises that altering an existing home requires a specialised approach and that our clients need a high quality, personalised and professional design and construction service specific to this need and this philosophy has been adopted and expanded by Alistair and his team.

Over the past two years, we have tripled our team members onsite and in the office as we continuously grow to achieve our vision of becoming the industry market leader. With regular meetings and continuous training held for our team we are kept informed and up to date with the current building industry standards and expectations as well as building trends and construction safety. We actively train our team in all aspects of carpentry, construction, customer service and business management to further develop and enhance their skills to complete their trade. We wholly support further education and encourage our apprentices and tradespeople to complete their Certificate IV in Building and Construction so they too can obtain their Builders Licence and make their mark as a skilled tradesperson in the industry

MWLP - Macarthur Workplace Learning Program

Work Placement Students

We have an ongoing relationship with MWLP and their program to assist students who are studying Construction as part of their HSC and welcome those that want to come along and undertake the work experience component of their studies with us. We have always found this program to be a positive and rewarding experience, not only does it help us onsite, it also gives the students an insight into a future career in the industry.

Alistair is a strong advocate of the MWLP program.  “We are always looking to employ apprentices and being able to assess them on the job for a week is an ideal way to interview. All companies should get involved, we need to get young people trained properly in the workforce.  Unfortunately some kids slip through the cracks as they may not be great at school but could be great with their hands and great with people and this is an opportunity for them to display that and gain some confidence.”
